 Over Nautische Unie
Nautische Unie is in 1970 opgericht als gecertificeerd bedrijf voor het keuren van opblaasbare reddingsvlotten ten behoeve van de professionele scheepvaart. Gelijktijdig werd begonnen met de keuring van kleine blusmiddelen.
In 1979 verhuisde het bedrijf naar een nieuwbouwpand in de Farmsumerhaven. De activiteiten werden uitgebreid met o.a. levering en reparatie van boten, buitenboordmotoren en toebehoren voor de watersport.
Na overname in 1997 door Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek Hunfeld B.V. veranderde de naam in Nautische Unie Hunfeld B.V. Vanaf dat moment leveren we complete nautische en medische uitrustingen, veiligheidsmiddelen en persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen voor de beroepsvaart.
In 2002 is er een nieuwe showroom bijgebouwd voor de watersport. Een extra ruimte van 1.000 m2 stelt ons in staat het assortiment buitenboordmotoren, opblaasbare, polyester en aluminium boten beter te presenteren. Ook de bijbehorende accessoires zijn ruimschoots vertegenwoordigd.
De nieuwste ontwikkeling betreft de uitbreiding van ons aanbod met de aluminium visboten van de bekende Amerikaanse merken Starweld en Crestliner.
De werkplaatsen voor boten, buitenboordmotoren, brandblussers, reddingsvlotten en overige veiligheidsmiddelen voldoen aan de eisen van deze tijd.

 About us
The Nautische Unie was founded in 1970, as a certified company to inspect inflatable life rafts for professional shipping. At the same time the Unie started inspecting small extinguishing equipment.
In 1979 the company moved to a new building at the harbour of Farmsum. The activities were extended to the supply and repair of boats, outboard engines, and various objects for recreational boating.
After the Nautische Unie was taken over by Scheepswerf en Machinefabriek Hunfeld B.V. in 1997, the name changed to Nautische Unie Hunfeld B.V. As from that year we started to offer entire nautical and medical equipment packs, safety equipment, and personal safety equipment for professional shipping.
In 2002 we added a new showroom for recreational aquatics. The added 1000 m2 allows us to present our extensive assortment of outboard engines, inflatable dinghies, and polyester and aluminium boats. We also offer a comprehensive collection of accessories.
The latest development is the extension of our range of products with the aluminium fishingboats of the well-known American brands Starweld and Crestliner.
The workshops for boats, outboard engines, fire extinguishers, life rafts and other safety equipment meet all contemporary standards.
